TH test 36

The first tests of the TH36 have taken place and people are talking about us.

“If we owe the style to Garroni, for the dynamic part, Four Winns has secured the services of one of the best catamaran specialists in the world, le cabinet d’architecture navale Marc Lombard Design. The result, it is a double hull with narrow and tapered bows guaranteeing good penetration into the wave, and strakes for hooking and guiding. A chine starting at the front further increases stability. Platform, quite thick, ensures the rigidity of the whole while retaining enough volume between the hulls so that the catamaran forms a shock-absorbing air cushion during rapid sailing.”

“Catamaran oblige, lateral stability is excellent, but a good job has also been done on the mass distribution, which gives the boat a very good trim. Same pleasure in curves, since, unlike certain multihulls, the Four Winns does not oversteer, it remains almost flat, even in tight turns. Actually, this boat was, from the start, designed like a powercat, et, with a magician like Marc Lombard at the helm, we are not surprised by the result.”
